Since opening our doors in 2011 as Vermont Open MRI, we have proudly served our community with the state’s only Open MRI—designed specifically to meet the needs of claustrophobic patients or those who couldn’t comfortably undergo a traditional MRI. Over the years, our independent outpatient model has earned the trust of patients and providers alike by offering faster scheduling, lower costs, and a more patient-centered experience than the hospital setting. As the diagnostic imaging needs of our community have grown, so have we.

In late 2023, we expanded our services by installing a state-of-the-art Closed 3T Wide-Bore MRI, which provides more space than a conventional MRI while delivering the highest-quality imaging available in the region.

And now, in Fall 2025, we are excited to announce the addition of CT imaging to our services. With this new capability, we have rebranded as Vermont OPEN Imaging—a name that reflects both our continued commitment to openness in care and our expanded diagnostic offerings.

For over 15 years, our locally owned and operated facility has been a trusted provider of diagnostic imaging as Vermont Open MRI.
